Fell in Love || Sweden

Berwald was sitting alone in the school library reading a history book and making notes from it. It was nice and quiet. Not many people spent their time in that place after school. He sighed and moved his sight from a book to the view behind the window glass. The sun was setting making the spring sky purple. Birds were flying back to their nests. Most of the students were already gone from school. He scratched his neck and started scribbling again.

Suddenly something tackled him to the ground knocking over the wooden chair that he was sitting on. He opened his eyes and saw familiar lips smiling at him lovingly. On him was lying (h/l), (h/c) haired girl. She slowly turned her head to look at with her (e/c) eyes on Berwald.

         -Found you!- you said cutely to him.

He looked at you, hatred in his eyes. If looks could kill you would probably be dead already. His dark aura was surrounding him. You only smiled even brighter and moved yourself to a sitting position.  You thought that his reaction was very adorable. You knew Berwald for so much time then, and his behavior didn’t make any impression on you.

         -What do you want- he asked you coldly.
         -What? I want your love of course!

He sat and your hands immediately sneaked around his neck. He tried to push you from him but you didn’t let him do it. He couldn’t put more strength into attempt to move you from him because he could easily hurt you and Berwald would never do that to you.

Standing up he grabbed your legs taking you with him. Then he seated you on the table and started to gather his scattered by you things. You were swinging your legs playfully humming your favorite song. He looked at you and sighed again. You really loved to annoy him.

You and Berwald knew each other for a very long time. He was your childhood friend. You met in the kindergarten. You were a little cute thing that was always smiling to other people. And because of that many boys liked to tease you. One day when they were bothering you, Berwald came to rescue and shooed them. After that you were always together, even if he tried to get rid of your company every time you met.

When you graduated to a high school you started to feel something different toward Berwald. You hadn’t seen him just as your friend. Finally you couldn’t hide your feelings anymore and you confessed to him. Surprisingly, he said that he liked you back. But even if you were together for a few months, almost nothing changed. It didn’t bother you much but still you wanted some attention from Berwald.

When he finally packed his things to his bag you stood up. Your uniform skirt moved slightly up, showing more of your skin. Berwald moved his eyes away from you and blushed slightly. He adjusted your uniform and walked ahead to the exit. You looked after him and after a while you did the same as he.

Berwald was walking you home despite that his house was in the opposite direction. You walked together in a complete silence. From time to time he moved his sight from a road to you. Even if he didn’t show that, he still really cared about you. Maybe sometimes you were very irritating but still he would never resign from your warm greetings, unawares hugs and generally all the love that you were giving to him.

From the corner of his eyes he saw two guys looking at you and smiling. They were eating your small form with their eyes. Berwald glared at them and embraced you with his arm, moving you to him as close as it was possible.

You looked at the ground surprised by his sudden action. You didn’t see the guys who were trying to flirt with you so you didn’t know why he did that. Your cheeks turned red. You didn’t mind touching him and showing him your emotion but when he did something like that you immediately loose all of your self-confidence.

When you were far from your admirers he let go of you. But you didn’t want to let go of him so you moved your hand to hold his, bigger one. You felt slightly embarrassed. To your surprise he held your hand tighter. You looked at him and when your eyes meet you smiled.

When you two reached your house, you looked at yours connected hands making a sad face. You really hated not being with Berwald even if it’s for a short period of time. From your face he immediately read all of your emotions. He bent down to your level and kissed your lips lovingly. Even if he was cold outside he was such a nice and sensible person inside, you loved him even more because of that.

After the kiss you embraced him tightly and buried your face in his chest. He put his chin on your head and sighed.

         -But you know that we wouldn’t part, right?- he asked you with monotone voice.

You backed off from him just a little bit to look him in the eyes. He saw sparks in your (e/c) eyes and immediately regretted what he had said.

         -I knew you wanted to come inside!- you said taking his hands in yours, guiding him to your house.

         -W-what! No, I didn’t mean…- but you didn’t listen to him. Of course you knew that he meant that he would never break up with you but you really loved teasing him.

He didn’t even try to resist you- if he did you would use your cuteness to make him do as you wish. Sometimes he really wanted to get rid of you but if he did that he would lose the reason of his life- his happiness and everything that he loved- you.
